We’re excited to welcome Katherine Laverman, Environmental Resource Specialist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Walla Walla District, Coeur d’Alene Regulatory Office, who will introduce us to the new Regulatory Request System (RRS) that is now live in Idaho.

The Corps’ RRS is a digital platform designed to streamline and modernize regulatory and permitting workflows. Initially launched in beta to support pre-application and jurisdictional determination requests, the system has since expanded to include a public notices module.

As of the end of August, the Joint Permit Application is now live in RRS for the state of Idaho, meaning the system is actively accepting permit applications in addition to pre-application consultations and jurisdictional determination requests. Applicants can also use the platform to view public notices, complete a questionnaire to determine if their project requires a permit, and even generate a No Permit Required letter when applicable.

This presentation will provide a first-hand look at how RRS is reshaping the Corps’ regulatory program and what applicants, consultants, and stakeholders need to know as Idaho transitions to this modernized system.
