This presentation will focus on Idaho DEQ funding opportunities and the Environmental Information Document (EID) process for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Presented by Idaho DEQ staff, the training is intended for environmental professionals and planners in Idaho, many of whom may be unfamiliar with EID preparation. It will give practical guidance on:

  • What an EID is and its role in funding applications.
  • How to prepare and submit an EID to DEQ.
  • Available funding mechanisms through the SRF programs and associated environmental review steps.

Presented by:

MaryAnna Peavey, Grants & Loans Bureau Chief at Idaho DEQ. She oversees the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), which finance upgrades to Idaho’s water and wastewater systems. She will speak on funding programs and the State Revolving Fund process.

Katelyn Faretra, Grant and Loan Analyst at Idaho DEQ, primary contact for DEQ’s State Environmental Review Process for SRF-funded water and wastewater improvement projects, and coordinator for Lead Testing in Schools and infrastructure needs surveys. She will address environmental review requirements and EID preparation.
